WAGES RESTORED.
AUCKLAND BOOT FACTORY. The directors of Bridgens and Company, Ltd., one of the largest boot and shoe factories in the Dominion, with premises at New North Road, have decided to restore all salaries and wages to the 1931 level. There are 242 employees. The secretary of the Auckland Bootmakers' Industrial Union of Workers. Mr. C. A. Watts, said to-day that the action of the company was greatly appreciated by *'.e employees.
