NORTHCOTE WELFARE.
The president, Mrs. A. J. Beck, occupied the chair at the monthly meeting of the Nortlicote Welfare League. A welcome was extended to the new secretary, Mrs. B. W. Ferner. A general improvement was reported in the borough so far as the need for relief was concerned, many of the relief workers having obtained better employment. In view of the better outlook, it was resolved that the general committee would need to meet only on alternate months, and the next meeting was fixed for July and the annual meeting in August.
