CATHOLIC CHARITY BALL.
Excellent progress has been made in the organisation of this year's Catholic Charity Ball, to be held in the Town Hall on Wednesday, May 27, according to reports made to a meeting of the general committee last night, at which Mr. T. J. Buxton presided. Proceeds from the ball, which is one of the outstanding social events of every year, will be in aid of Roman Catholic orphanages and the Society, of St. Vincent de Paul. The debutantes will be presented to Bishop Liflton.
