LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
JUNIOR MANAGEMENT. j At the meeting of the junior management committee of the Auckland Rugby :League last evening, Mr. D. Wilkie presiding, a motion of condolence to the family of Mr. A. A. Cowan, secretary of the MHnukau Club, was passed in the usual manner. ' Glenora third grade team, who drew with Newton, were awarded the match through a Newton player being out of order. He had weighed in for Mount Albert. The Green Lane sixths lost their match against Papakura for the same reason, and the Green Lane senior B team, which lost to Otahuhu, was also ruled to be out of order. A number of junior players were dealt with, and one, who made an offensive remark to a referee retiring from the room, was recalled and suspended for next Saturday. E. Murphy was regraded from fourth to fifth grade to play for Newton, subject to clearance. It was decided to order the attendance at next meeting of a third grade player who came off the field and attacked a boy. Transfers: C. Johnston, Green Lane third grade to Point Chevalier; A. C. Houlthan and J. Henderson, Manukau to Mount Albert; J. T. Silva, Ellorslie to Green Lane senior B; S. Papa, Mount Albert fifths to New-ton; C. Pearco and O. Simon, City Rovers' sixths to Newton; N. Ivil, Avondale sevenths to Papakura. The transfer of J. Kelly from Otahuhu to Green Lane was referred to the senior board. The transfer of E. J. Ginders from Green Lane to Newton was referred back to the board, as Ginders was not considered to come under the rule as applying to junior players.
