HERNE BAY CLUB. FINAL RACK OF SEASON. The Heme Bay Sailing Club held two races on Saturday, starting and iinisliing off the I'onsonby wharf. The events were for the club's 12ft Silver Fern one-design class and the open class. The race was closely contested in a steady breeze from the south, Valerie winning the 12ft class and Whetu the open class. The two classes started together at 2.30 p.m., Valerie getting away lirst to a good start, followed by Flying Cloud, Silver Fern, Wlietu, Endeavour and Norena. On the first round Endeavour let! by 2s from Flying Cloud, with Silver Fern 4.8 later. The finish was: —Valerie (scr), 4h 5m ss; Endeavour (lm), 4h 7m 40s; Flying Cloud (2m 30s), 4h 13m 50s; Silver Fern (8m), 4h 18m 455. Result: Valerie (L>. Hurley) 1, Endeavour (R. Bell Booth) 2, Silver Fern (D. Taylor) 3. Open Class. —Only two boats, Norena and Whetu started in this class, both off scratch. Norena capsized and Whetu (R. Crnnwell) won, The officers of the flay were A. Hurley, A. G. Taylor and Colin Bonnes. This concludes the club's racing. Master D. Hurley's Valerie wins Mr. Ernest Davis' Cup for highest points in the season in the Silver Feru Class. Master N. Shaw wins Captain W.. Percy's t/opliy in the open class with Norena.

TAKAPUNA CLUB. FELLOWSHIP CUP RACES. The annual contests between senior crews for the Fellowship Cups of the Takapuna Boating Club were sailed on Saturday in a steady southerly breeze, and were very keenly contested, only seconds separating all of tlie competing boats. The races were sailed in the club's 12ft 6in one-design (Z) class, the competing crews being as follow:- —Takapuna, Messrs. J. J. Mackay and N. Matheson; Tamaki, Messrs. Warwick Jackson and It. Urquhart; Ponsonby, Messrs. R. Cunningham and W. Cooper; Manukau, Messrs. R. Belcher and P. Webb: Point Chevalier, Messrs. A. Wilietts and W. Oliver. Tamaki crew in Billy Boy beat Takapuna in Te Utu and won the TamakiTakapuna Cup. Takapuna crew in Te Utu beat Ponsonby in Trevic, and won the PonsonbyTakapuna Cup. Point Chevalier crew in Billy Boy beat Takapuna in Trevic, and won the Taka-puna-Point Chevalier Cup. Takapuna crew in Trevic beat Manukau in Te Utu, winning the Ta'kapuna-Manukau Cup. The Juvenile Harmony Cup between Takapuna and Manukau junior crews was won by Manukau in Te Utu (Jack Taylor, skipper, and Frank Marks, for'ard hand), who beat Takapuna crew (Alex Irvine, skipper, and Roy Matheson, fpr'ard hand) in Trevic. The crews were entertained in the clubhouse after the races.

ON THE MANUKAU. The Manukau Yacht Club anil the Mantikau Cruising Club held a final combined race on Saturday in a steady sou'-west breeze. The race was a resail to determine second and third places in the original race of March 28. when Kia Ora and Revenge capsized. Foam was awarded first place, and Saturday's race resulted as follows: — Manukau Club.—Ranui 3h 3Sm 445, Maia 3h 42m Bs, Aratu 3h 43m 21s, Sea Gnome 3h 43m 225, Aloma 3h 40m 525, Wixie M 3h 56m Bs, Okere 31i 58m 20s, Invader 31i s'Jm 50s. Result: Okere second place, Aloma third. Cruising Club.—The finishing times in this club were the same, and the result was: Aloma second, Okere third. The officers of the day were Messrs. P. J. Auger and A. Grupen (M.Y.C.\ J. Keegan and H. Christian (M.C.C.).
