LAWS IGNORED.
Further Demonstrations By The Mau. POLICE TAKE NO ACTION. APIA, May 5, Two hundred Mau natives from Palauli, headed by Autagavai and a brass band, with Mau flags flying, and 100 of the party wearing Mau lavalavas, inarched through Apia yesterday afternoon to Apia native village for sivas and a sort of taalolo dance. All the laws restricting Mau activities were ignored. However, the parade was very orderly, and no action was taken by the police. On account of measles at Upolu a passenger contact at Savaii was stopped and other quarantine restrictions were instituted by the Medical Department. The Mau is inclined to disregard these restrictions.
