UPWARD TREND.
DUNEDIN BUILDING TRADE. MANY PERMITS ISSUED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. Building activity in the city continues to reveal an upward trend. Permits issued by the Dunedin City Council for the month of April totalled 71, with a total value of £23,808, as compared with 63, valued at £20,810, for April last year. \ The work undertaken was mostly of a domestic nature, no fewer than 20 new dwellings being contracted for. Another block of flats is to be erected in the city at a cost of £22,000.
