NEW LYNN INSTITUTE.
The New Lynn Institute meeting was held yesterday. The pickle competition was won by Airs. Southern. Mrs. Barret and Airs. Stewart rendered a pianoforte duct. Two demonstrations were given, one of smocking by Airs. Tate, who showed a beautifully worked ba.by's frock, and one on dresscutting by Airs. Mealing, of Avondale.
