MAYOR'S APPEAL.
CRIPPLED CHILDREN'S FUND. GOOD RESPONSE FROM ROTORUA. The honorary organiser for the Mayor's Crippled Children's Fund (Mr. W. P. Rankin) said this morning that there had been a splendid response from Rotorua. Systematic work had been carried out on a block system, and £300 had been raised. At Cambridge and Hamilton similar efforts were in progress to augment the fund, and at Otahuhu nn appeal was meeting with good response.
