Silver is quoted at 20% d for spot and forward delivery. MEAT EXPORT TRADE. The Bank of New Zealand lias received tile following advice from its London office as at close of business this week:— Wethers:> The market is weaker for liglit- | weights; heavyweights remain steady. Light, 4 Mid to sd; heavy, 3%d to 4d. Ewes: The market is short of supplies, and prices arc nominal; 3%d to 4%d. Lambs: The market is steady, and no material change is expected yet. Twos, 7%d to 7%d; eights, 6%d to 6%d; fours, 6%d to 6%d; seconds, 7%d to 7%d. COTTON, RUBBER, COPRA, ETC. LONDON, May 2.
