SHEEP-DOG TRIALS.

CONTROL IN NORTHLAND. Executive electcd at the annual meeting of delegates from the North Auckland Sheep-dog Trial Clubs, at Wliangarei on Saturday:—Messrs. "T. J. Jordan (Bay of Islands), D. Fergus (Otamatea), P. McKenzie (Broadwood), J. Studholrae (Hobson), J. A. Finlayson (Wliangarei); secretary, Mr. C. P. Butler (Wliangarei).

It was decided that the North Auckland Centre championships should be held alternately by the affiliated clubs, as follows:—l9ii6, Whangarei; 1937, Hobson, 1938, Bay of Islands; 1939, Northland (Broadwood); 1940, Otainatea.

Mr. H. B. Sloane was re-elected representative for the centre on the North Island Sheep-dog Trial Association.

The annual trials of the Whangarei County Sheep-dog Trial Club were continued In boisterous weather. Kesult of the short head competition:—P. McKenzie's Moss, 52 points, 1; J. Ingram's Scott, 511, *>; Is. H. Sloane's Glen, 40j, 3; T. W. Jordan's Crib, 49, 4.
