CRIMINAL SESSION.
NEXT WEEK'S CALENDAR
The second' quarterly criminal session of the Supreme Court at Auckland will commence next Tuesday. The calendar, in comparison with the average, is a lirrht one, 13 people being indicted. There. i 3 a preponderence of alleged offences of a sexual nature on the list in which six accused are involved. In the remainder there is a charge of dual voting at the last national election, breaking and entering, theft, and one charge of negligently driving a motor car causing deatl^ Though the list is comparatively light quite a number of accused persons who have admitted offences have come before the Court for sentence during the past two months. On Monday next seven who have not yet been sentenced, and who have admitted a variety of offences, will appear.
