METHODIST WOMEN.

PAPAKURA WELCOME. The Papakura Methodist Ladies' Guild met this week, when the guests of the function were the Rev. and Mrs. I. M. Raynor. The president, Mrs. Perry Taylor, on behalf of the members of the guild, extended a very warm welcome to Rev. and Mrs. I. M. Raynor, their newly-appointed minister, and his wife. Mrs. Raynor expressed her appreciation and thanks to the members for the very kind manner in which they had received Mr. Raynor and herself. Mies W. T, Cox, president of the Manurcwa Methodist Ladies' Guild, also welcomed the guests on behalf of her guild and expressed the hope that the ladies of the two guilds would see more of each other in future. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs, Bryant and Mrs. J. Milliken. A competition was won by two of the Manurewa ladies. Among those present were: Mesdames Perry Taylor, I. M. Raynor, J. Milliken, Bryant, Cliappell (Manurewa), D. Blank, G. Markwick, E. C. Johnson, G. Buehan, H. Christopher (Manurcwa), "Clark, W. T, Cox (Manurewa), Ratcliffe, C. A. Fausctt (Manurewa), J.
