NORTHERN WAIROA REMITS

CONFERENCE DISCUSSIONS. (By Telecraph—Own Correspondent.) DARGAYILLE, this day. 1 he following remits were passed at the annual meeting of the Northern Wairoa sub-provincial executive of the Farmers' Union yesterday for presentation to the conference at-Auckland: —

(1) That the right to repay in cash at any time, subject to the usual notice, should bo included in all mortgages of tlie Mortgage Corporation.

(2) That the prices of farm products taken over by the State should be relative to the actual goods obtainable overseas for those products, taking into consideration all rises in costs in New Zealand.

(3) That this conference docs not favour , the lifting of the embargo o:i stock from overseas.

(4) That full recor<ls of conference discussions be furnished to each provincial secretary and all delegates.

The meeting also appointed delegates to meet the Hon. R. Semple (Minister of Public Works), when he visits Dargayille in connection with the proposed water scheme and the completion of the northern railway.
