SHOP WINDOW THEFT.
FURS OPENLY REMOVED. SYDNEY, April 30. The cool theft of £700 worth of women's furs was carried out from the display windows of David Jones, Limited, at the Australia Hotel last evening: The robberv was not noticed by anyone, and it is believed that pedestrians may have regarded the thief a window-dresser employed by the com nanv The legitimate employees, how ever/had intended to change the d.spJay to-day, but the furs were missin,,.
