CRIPPLE CHILDREN.
EFFORT TO RAISE FUNDS.
BIG FAIR AT MOUNT ALBERT,
What is practically a Mount Albert Borough effort on behalf of the fund for cripple children will be held tomorrow afternoon on the grounds of Mount Albert Grammar School, when the local association for the aid of ciipple children, in conjunction with Mount Albert Grammar School and seven p:imary schools in the district, will hold a fair 011 a large scale. A very extensive programme, including figure drill by 400 or 500 boys, folk dancing and Highland dancing, spectacular competitive events with decorated vehicles, and female impersonations, and cookery competitions for which there are over 120 entries, with the usual wide selection of side shows, has been organised. The official opening of the fair will be performed by the Mayor o oiin Albert, Mr. R. E. Femer. The Mount Eden Boys' Band will be m attendance during the afternoon.
