MARIPOSA IN THE MORNING.

The Union Company's passenger liner Monowai arrived from Wellington at 7 o'clock this morning, berthing at the Prince's wharf. She sails at 6 p.m. for Sydney. Tlio Oakbank arrived from Nauru Island, via New Plymouth, early this morning, and is discharging at the King's wharf. The Rangitane will arrive from Napier late to-night, and berth in the morning at the Queen's wharf.' She ia for final loading, and sails for London oil Thursday, via Panama. The Mariposa will arrive at 7 a.m. to-morrow from Sydney, and sails at 1 p.m. for fean Francisco, via way ports. Port Gisborne left last evening for Wellington to continue discharge, of cargo from Liverpool. She returns to load at Auckland on May IS. (F. Co-op.) Recorder, tho cable steamer, is due from Sydney on May 12, and will pick up lier usual moorings off Devonport. (0. and W„ Ltd.) Canadian Scottish will arrive on Monday from Australian ports for final loading, and sails on Tuesday for New York, Boston and Montreal. (C.N.S.) James Cook arrived last evening from Sydney, and is discharging hardwood at the Central wharf. She made a smart run across of five days and a half, and sails on Monday for Wellington. (N.S.S. Co.) Dalemoor will complete discharge of her basic slag and sail on Monday for Sydney. (N.Z.S. Co.) Durham is expected to finish loading local cargo for London on Monday, and leaves for Tokomaru Bay in the evening. (N.Z.S. Co.) Omana sails at 5 p.m. to-day for New Plymouth and Wanganui to complete discharge. She returns to Adelaide, and leaves towards the end of May for Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.) Port Whangarei left Nukualofa, Tonga, at 1.30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, and is due here on Tuesday morning. (U.S.S. Co.) Kartigi left late last night for Portland, and returns to-morrow morning. She is due to leave for the South in the afternoon. (U.S.S. Co.) Cumberland has been delayed by rain at New Plymouth. She is expected to leave at 4 p.m. to-day, and is due here early on Monday morning (N.Z.S. Co.) Ronaki, Hauturu and Hokianga are still at Onehunga waiting for the bar to become workable.
