BANKRUPTCY RETURNS.
LAST MONTH'S FIGURES. Four bankruptcy petitions were filed in Auckland last month, according to the return of the Official Assignee. These bring the total for the four months of the year to 14, as compared with 13 for the corresponding period in 1033. The bankruptcies recorded last month were those of a farmer, a tinsmith, a and -a ■ monumental mason.
