FOOTBALL DANCE.
PAPAKURA RUGBY LEAGUE. The Pauakura Rugby League Club held a successful dance last evening in the Regent Theatre. After the supper adjournment Mr. B<«u Davidson, exinternational Rugby League player, presented the Foster Memorial Shield to the captain (Sir. E. Pope) of the Papakura senior B team, which the team has won four out of five times. He also handed to Mr. Pope the Walmsley Colt Shield, presented for the first time, and also won by the senior B team. Monte Carlos were won by Miss M. Wallis and Sir. A. Brownlee, Miss Longley and Mr. Appleby.
