FOOTBALL ACCIDENTS.
PLAYEK'S LEG BROKEN.
In a practice match on Saturday at the Stadium ground between Marist Old Boys and Grafton, Harold Muller, of the former club, suffered a broken leg. Removed to the hospital casualty ward for attention, it was found that the left fabula 'was fractured, together with another bone above the ankle, disclosed by an X-ray examination yesterday. The player's leg will be in plaster for six weeks. , In the same game George Searle, the Grafton forward, had a finger broken. R. G. Couper, the Richmond threequarter, playing at Carlaw Park, suffered a recurrence of knee trouble. J. Dye, the City Rovers' player who suffered concussion in a match at Carlaw Park, left the hospital casualty ward on Saturday, and was able to resume work to-day.
