LINER QUEEN MARY.
OFFICIAL SPEED TRIALS. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, April 16. The liner Queen Mary will leave Southampton late this afternoon for her speed trials. It is believed in Southampton that she will have no difficulty in gaining the blue riband on her first crossing of the Atlantic. Negotiations have been started in the London market for insurance to cover the liner.. The amount to be covered for her hull and machinery ia £4,800,000.
