CRUISE SHIPS.
VISITS TO AUCKLAND.
ORION LARGEST YET. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTOIiUA, this day. Advice has been received by the Tourist Department that four overseas cruise ships are already scheduled to visit the Dominion next summer, and it is likely that they will be supplemented by further sailings, which will be announced at a later date.
The first to arrive will be the luxury liner Orion, which is due at Auckland 011 October 28. The Orion will be followed by the Strathuaver on November 20, the Orford 01* December 23, and the Narkunda 011 January 2. Parties from all four ships will visit Rotorua, the itineraries including visits to a number of well-known attractions in the district, together with Maori receptions and concerts.
