WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE.
Tho Government Meteorologist issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton:— "Moderate to strong easterly winds. Weather cloudy, with isolated rain. Seas rather rough to rough offshore. "An intense anti-cyclone still covers New Zealand and is centred to the oast. Pressure is still rather low to the north and has fallen over the south-west Tas* man Sea." Forecast for Dominion. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day the indications are for moderate to strong easterlies; weather cloudy, with isolated showers; barometer little movement; seas rough. Hauraki Gulf Conditions. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:—Wind, east, fresh to strong; sea, rough; weather, fine, with scattered clouds and haze; visibility, fair; barometer, steady.
