MILK SUPPLY.
WIDER POWERS. COMMISSION TO SIT. HEARING OF EVIDENCE. The Executive Commission of Agriculture, under the presidency of Sir Francis Frazer, will commence a sitting in Auckland on Thursday, to hear evidence in connection with- the Auckland milk sup. ply and proposed amendments to the existing legislation.
Last year further legislative powers were sought by the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council, and <i decision was made by tho Government to refer the matter to the Executive Commission of Agriculture to take evidence and repcrt.
The various interested parties have been notified of the sitting. Evidence 011 behalf of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council will !>•> tendered by the chairman (Mr. G. W. Hutchison) and evidence will also be given on behalf of the Auckland Milk Producers and Vendors' Association and the Auckland Milk Roundsmen's Union.
