At the March meeting of the Western Suburbs Cricket Association it was decided to close the competition and award the championship to Glen Eden; also to offer a return match with the Friendly Societies at Glen Eden on Good Friday and Easter Monday. The annual end of season meeting will be held on April 4 in the Foresters' Hall, New Lynn, to take the form of a social evening.
