COSTLIER FREIGHTS.
INTER-STATE SHIPPING. (Received 2.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The inter-State shipping companies, excepting the Patrick Line, announce that, as from to-day, freight rates between Brisbane and Sydney and Brisbane and Melbourne will be increased by 1/ and 1/6 a ton respectively, owing to the rise in shipping costs, stores and stevedoring since the depression.
