RECORD SEASON SOUGHT.

Redwood; president, Mr. B. W. Davis* chairman, Mr, W. A. Swift; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. R. Dick; delegate to primary schools' management, Mr. C. Rowe; club captain, Mr. R. Hyland; auditor, Mr. Redwood. The present vicepresidents were re-elected, with a number of new nominations. The club committee will be formed by team representation. A .feature was the presentation of the Harry Johns Cup, awarded to the team showing best all-round merit for the season, involving team points, training, attendance, conduct, neatness and other team details, submitting an exhaustive report upon all the teams. Mr. Kay Hyland selected for the honour the Richmond schoolboys, who won 19 games, lost 3. drew 3 and scored 539 points, with only 70 against. In handing the cup to the coach and manager, Mr. W. Berger, Mr. Davis heartily congratulated the team, whose record, he considered, would be hard to beat. (Applause.)

Upon the recommendation of the committee, warmly endorsed by tlie meeting, life membership medallions were presented to Messrs. F. Thompson (17 years' service to the club). Ralph Jenkinson (18) and W. Berger (15). Mr. W. Clarke, secretary of the junior managon B'.t. congratulated the club on its progress and upon the good work of the club captain. He aiso referred to the proposed introduction of a compulsory insurance scheme for juniors. Among new members welcomed was (j. Tittleton the South Auckland international three-quarter, who has joined the Rovers.
