LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
DAVE BROWN REFUSES OFFER. SYDNEY, March 1. A prominent Rugby League player, Dave Brown, who received a tempting offer to go to England, has decided to remain in Sydney, to the satisfaction of his host of admirers.
AUCKLAND MEETINGS.
The City Rovers Football Club is holding a general meeting at the Auckland League rooms at 7.150 on Thursday, while the Mount Albert League (Tub's annual meeting takes plaee at King George's Ilall on Monday, at 8 p.m.
WELCOME HOME TO L. SCHULTZ.
At the Titirangi kiosk on Saturday evening members and supporters ot' Mount Albert Club joined in a "welcome home" social to L. Schultz, who recently returned from Yorkshire. The chairman, Mr. A. C. Gallagher, in an interval, said the club was pleased to have back their popular young back, whose brothers were also valued players. Schultz suitably acknowledged the compliment.
