CRIES OF BABY.
GIVES WARNING OF FIRE. HENDERSON HOME DAMAGED. Awakened by the cries of a baby early yesterday morning, Mr. W. J. Trainer, of Henderson, found the bathroom of his house filled with smoke. The outbreak caused damage estimated at £50 to £60 to the hack of the building before it was extinguished by the Henderson Fire Brigade. The house, of six rooms, is owned by Mr. S. Knipe, of Onehunga. Exactly a year ago Mr. Trainer lost his house and most of his belongings in the peat fires at Tauhei.
