£300 TOBACCO THEFT. (Received 11 a.m.) VMELBOURNE, this clay. ( Three armed thieves, in a daring raid on the Victoria markets, held up and ( bound two night watchmen and ran- ] sacked the store. They cut the wires , of the burglar alarm and escaped in a car with tobacco valued at £300. The < constable on beat duty found the ' trussed-up watchmen. ' I 1
