OBITUARY.
MRS. H. CRAWFORD. The death occurred at Pukekolie, at the age of 87 years, of Mrs. Harriet Crawford, formerly of Whatawhata. For the past five years Mrs. Crawford had lived with Constable and Mrs. W. Mawhinney, for two years in Auckland, and the last three at Pukekolie. Mrs. Crawford came to New Zealand from Huntingdonshire in the ship Excelsior in 1871. Two years later, at Clevedon, she was married, and with. Mr. Crawford went to live in Gisborne. Subsequently they went farming at Whatawhata. Mr. Crawford died in 1895. MRS. C. PERRIN. An early settler in the Mangere district, Mrs. Charlotte Perrin, who had over 70 years' residence in the Auckland province, died at the age of 94 years. She arrived from England in the ship King of Italy, in 1864. Meeting her husband on the "ship, she was married some two years later, and the couple acquired a farm at Ihumatao, Mangere. Later Mrs. Perrin and her husband acquired farms at Papatoetoe, Buckland, and other districts in the Auckland province. Mr. Perrin died about 20 years ago. There are two surviving sons and four daughters.
