FIJI CENSUS.
FIXED FOR APRIL 27 NEXT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SUVA, January 14. 1 The Legislature has decided that a census of the colony should be taken during 1936. Commander Burrows, R.N. (retired), has been appointed officer in charge and the date has been fixed for ( Sunday, April 2(5 next. It is expected that the result will show a very substantial increase in Fijian, Indian and half-caste population, while the Chinese ■ have also increased considerably. "
