WRESTLING IN SUVA.
JAGET SINGH BEATS CHEUNG. , (From Our Own Correspondent.) SUVA, January 20. Wrestling lias come to Suva and judging by the crowd, estimated at over 2000, that witnessed the opening bout on Saturday night, it is going to stay. The opening night was devoted to a bout between a Punjabi, Jaget Singh, 15« st 101b, and Wong Bock Cheung, scaling 15st 51b. The promoters had erected a stadium capable of seating 4000 persons. The best of order prevailed and the excitement was intense. The Indian won on points, although the Chinese scored the first fall. Next Saturday the Greek, Tony Lcniaro, and a Punjabi, ] Harban Singh, will perform. The four t wrestlers have been specially imports j by some enterprising local sports. , \ i
