QUIST DEFEATS HOPMAN. ADELAIDE, January 26. The Australian lawn tennis championships were continued yesterday. Results were as follows :— Men's Singles.—Semi-finals: Quist defeated Hopman, 4—6, 6—2. 10—8, 6—3; Crawford defeated Kay, 6 —2, 9 —7, 6—2. Ladies' Doubles. —Semi-finals: Misses Blick and Woodward defeated Mrs. Hopman and Miss Hartigan, 6—2. 6—i; Misses Coyne and Wynne defeated Misses G. and D. Stevenson, 6 —4, B—6. Mixed Doubles. —Final: Hopman and Mrs. Hopman defeated Kay and Miss Blick, 6—2, 6—o.
