SWORDFISH LANDED.
TAURANGA, this day. Fishing from the launch Xaomi off Mayor Island, Mr. J. Parker, of Judea, Tauramra, landed a 2751b ewordfish after a fight of an hour and three-quarters. Efforts to secure a good supply of water on the island have been successful. A bore was sunk to 29 feet and a copious flow of good drinking water obtained near the concrete building on the south-east side of the bay. I
