„ I JOTTINGS FROM WORLD'S PRESS. Eugene Donald Lonnesburry, of Danbury, Connecticut, is aged two. And he smokes four cigars a day. He is Lot allowed to light the cigars for fear he burns himself. Recently he received a letter from an old shipmate now living in Philadelphia. In the envelope was a five-dollar note. Its brush was presented to a woman rider A mongrel dog limped into the receiving room of the Memphis (Tennessee) General Hospital and looked pleadingly arouivi- ■■ Xo one took much notice of him. " e fame back a few hours later. Again the following day he was back in the hospital. His limp was more pronounced. Dr. J Cash King saw the dog hobbling around and took him to the X-ray room. "Just as I thought." said the doctor, "a cleaa fracture." The mongrel's leg was put in splints. To-day he is the pet of the hospital, and assured of a permanent home.
