LABOUR AND LOYALTY.

The nation lias been deeply bereaved by the loss of its beloved King and mourns this loss. Our worthy Premier, Mr. M. J. Savage, lias given the lie direct to the statements which have been made querying the loyalty and allegiance of the Labour party to the Throne by his actions since the King's death. On Thursday he requested that business lir.ms grant two hours oIT to their employees to enable them to show their continued allegiance to our new King. It would be interesting to know how many firms complied with this request, thus showing their own genuine allegiance, and how many worked behind locked doors trying to show their own professed ; allegiance. LOYALIST.
