It is still very doubtful whether Caugliey will be available for the All Blacks against "Wales, at Cardiff, oil Saturday, as he is limping slightly. If he does not play the five-eightlis will probably be Tindill and Griffiths.
There is a chance of Corner being preferred to Sadler if the weather be wet and the ground heavy.
The New Zealanders attended their last social function before the' international last night, being among the guests at an official dance at Portlicawl, at which thousands were present, many travelling over 50 miles.
The team to-day is enjoying the quiet peace of Portlicawl. Springlike weather and bracing healthy air have cured the colds with which many arrived. The players are running a golf tournament, playing every afternoon. Some novices receive 40 handicap.
Mr. V. R. Meredith, manager of the All Blacks, addressed Aberdare school children regarding Rugby in New Zealand.
Several members of the team, in addition to the dance last night, witnessed the boxing match in which Jimmy Wilde, the Welsh heavy-weight, defeated Maurice Strickland (New Zealand).
The New Zealander, Cooper, has been elected captain of the Oxford University Rugby Club for 193 C.
