MONTEREY SAILS LATE.

PORT HOBABT TO LOAD.

The inclement weather of yesterday delayed loading operations on the Matson liner Monterey, and she did riot finish until 11 p.m. At that time the north-east gale was at its height, but shortly after 1 a.m. she moved out from the weather side of the Prince's wharf and cleared the harbour at 1.45 p.m. in continuation of her voyage to San Francisco. The Port Hobart is° meeting with heavy weather coming down from North Gape on her way from New Plymouth to load, and will not arrive before G p.m. I Tamaroa, which was delayed in her , loading by the rain, left for Lyttelton (Shortly after 1 p.m. After loading atPicton she sails from Wellington on January 3. - (A.S.P.) Tekoa is loading for New York and London at the Central wharf, and is expected to leave on Saturday afternoon for Tokomaru Bay. (N.Z.S. Co.) Port Whangarei completed discharge of her fruit from Nukualofa yesterday and is now loading for Southern ports. (N.S.S. Co.) , Ngataki, the Auckland yacht which lias been on a cruise to the South Pacific, arrived shortly after 1 p.m. to-day. (J. Wray, master.) Idle Hour, an American-owned yacht, arrived at 11 a.m. from Apia. (Master, owner.) Aorangi is meeting with the prevailing bad weather and is not expected to arrive from Vancouver, via ports, until Monday morning. She is due to sail at 11 p.m. for Sydney. (U.S.S. Co.) Rangitane, from London, berthed at Wellington at 7.30 a.m. to-day. The Auckland passengers will arrive by tomorrow evening's express. (N.Z.S. Co.) ICiwitea arrived from Westport early this morning and is discharging at the King's wharf. She will sail to-morrow evening for Newcastle and Sydney. (•U.S.S. Co.) Waipiata, now loading for Southern ports at the King's wharf, is due to sail on Friday afternoon. (U.S.S. Co.) Port Chalmers, which left Auckland for London on November 14, arrived on Sunday, one day ahead of schedule date. (Farmers' Co-op.) Nardana, one of the A. and A.
