| A meeting of the Waitemata Women's Progressive League was held at Mrs. Carter's residence, Jutland Road, Takapuna, on Saturday. Miss O'Neill presided over a good attendance of the working committee. The final arrangements for the children's Christmas party to be held at the Pirate Shippe on December 23 were left to Mrs. Bestic. A letter from the Chief Postmaster, Auckland, stated that the league's request for an extension of the postal facilities at Hauraki Road, Takapuna, I had, been-granted. I
