The Stock Exchange business is becoming quieter at every call. There were only two sales this morning, and values were very firm. Buyers crept ahead for several issues, and sellers also were increasing limits. Dalgety's 'were in strong request at £8 9/, and sellers were at £8 14/. The miscellaneous scction was noteworthy for the continued appreciation of some Australian issues. Anthony Horderns rose to business at £1 0/3. and British Tobaccos were wanted at £2 0/6, with sellers at £2 1/3. Broken Hill proprietary were much stronger, and the market closed from £2 19/5 to £3 for ordinaries, and buyers £1 8/6 for the contributing issue. New Zealand company shares were steady and quiet.
