The charter of the British Broadcasting Corporation will expire in a few months, and a commission set up to report to the Government on the broadcasting system is expected to report very shortly. The charter is certain to be renewed, and while there will be changes 'in the system there is no likelihood of suggestions that "sponsoring" of programmes should be allowed;
