THE AUSTRALIAN CLUB.
The Australian Club held its annual children's Christmas party "at the residence of Mrs. St. Clair Brown, Ranfurly Road, Epsom, on Saturday. Over 60 children, invited from Sister Esther's mission, and others thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas tree and games on the lawns. Father Christmas presented every child with a present, and ice creams were in demand. Mr. John Farrell, president, welcomed the guests. Cars to bring the children were sent by Mr. Farrell, Mrs. Noakea, Mrs. Scot.t, Mrs. Coote, Mrs. Paykell and Mrs. Mitchell. Club members present were: Mrs. John Farrell, Dr. Turkington (president women's section), Mesdames St. Clair Brown, Allan Spence, Scott Young. Clark Walker, Webster, Binns, Clewes, Kemp, Pezaro and Earle. Mrs. Paykell and Mis, Wliitton were hostesses.
