Jack W. Clark, riding from virtual scratch, won the race fairly easily from Gordon Cunningham, with young junior George Grigg a close third. _ Clark provided much amusement by riding in collax and tie. On Monday, January 27, the club will be conducting its annual track championship meetinf at the Western Springs Stadium. Super-tourist" Ivan Reid tried the novelty of moonlight touring last week-end. He left his Epsom home at 11 p.m. for Hamii ton, which he made at 6 a.m. On November 30 week-end Club Captain Cyril Cronk has arranged a run through to Karekare Beach, but wishes to know the previous Saturday "who intends to go, . o thit overnight accommodation may be booked.
