AUCKLAND CONTROL OF GAME, ANOTHER E. C. BE ALE TOUR. TOWN V. COUNTRY DATES. Mr. W. R. Fee, chairman of the Auckland Cricket Association, who returned from Christchiircli on Monday, last night submitted to the management committee a comprehensive report on affairs dealt with at the biennial conference of delegates to the New Zealand Council and at the annual meeting of that body. Mr. N. C. Snedden complimented the chairman on his efforts at the conference. An application from Mr. 15. C. Beale for permission to organise a team lor a tour of territory covered by the Hawke's i Bay, Poverty Bay, Waiapu and Bay of Plenty Associations was received. The ■tour, which would comprise . several .matches, would extend from December 22 to January 10. The chairman said that during his recent visit to Canterbury he had heard appreciation expressed of the benefit derived by several Southern associations as the result of visits of Auckland teams organised by Mr. Beale. It was agreed to grant Mr. Beale's application providing that the personnel of the team is submitted to the association for approval. Regarding the Town-Country fixture, originally fixed for December 3 and 4, Mr. Fee said that it might be necessary to reconsider the dates for this match in view of the fact that the Waikato Association would be participating in a Hawke Cup fixture about that time. It was decided to get in touch with the Waikato Association with a view to securing more definite information on the subject. Mr. D. V. Moore advised that he would be willing to undertake the management of the association's Country Week tournament. The Onehunga Association intimated that it was prepared to enter into a reciprocal agreement with the object of keeping a check on unfinancial players. Applications for affiliation from the North Auckland and Pukekohc Associations were granted. Transfers approved: A. A. Delamore, Grafton to Training College; K. A. Blakey, Royal Oak to University; F. McLennan, Ponsonby to St. John's.
