The following are the material provisions of the Lease:—Term to be for 21 years, renewable for three further terms of 21 years (making SI years in all) ; Lessee to have the option of the rent being fixed by valuation at the end of each 21-year period, or of the new lease being put up to Public Auction. (See provisions of Section s_of the Public Bodies Leases Act, I'JUS, and Ist and 2nd Schedules thereto.) Lessee not to assign or sublet without consent of the Board; Lessee to repair; Lessee not to erect buildings unless plan approved by the Board; Lessee to insure, and, in tne event of lire, insurance money to be expended in rebuilding. The cottage on the section to be purchased from the Board at a price to be arranged. Tenders must be endorsed on the envelope "Tender for Lease," and .must be in the hands of the Secretary by Noon of TUESDAY, December 1(1, 1035. Tenders are invited by the Auckland Harbour Board for the Lease of Lot 20, Victoria Street West, City of Auckland. CONDITIONS OF LEASE. The following are the material conditions of the Lease:—Term of lease, 17 years; Lessee .not to assign or sublet without consent of the Board; Lessee to repair; Lessee not to carry on offensive or dangerous trade; Lessee not to erect further buildings unless plan first approved by the Board; copy of such plan to be supplied for retention by the Board; Lessee to insure, and, in the event of lire, insurance money to lie expended in rebuilding. The building existing on the section to bo purchased from the Board at a price to be arranged. Tenders must be endorsed on envelope "Tender for Lease," and must be in the hands of the Secretary of the Board by Noon of TUESDAY, December in, 1035.
