GLEN EDEN INSTITUTE.
The Glen Eden Institute held the usual monthly meeting on Monday. In spite of the wet evening there was a very fair attendance. Mrs. Brown demonstrated finishing a basket. In the flower competition prizes were won by Mrs. Kirkbride, first, and Mrs. Werner, second. A song title competition was won by Mrs. Hill. During the evening a banner was presented to the institute by two of the members. Arrangements were made for stewards for the show which takes place shortly. It was decided to hold a bring and buy afternoon before Christmas in aid of the health stamp campaign. The evening concluded with games and dancing.
