MOTORING.
HILL-CLIMB CONTEST. TESTS AT MOUNT ROSKILL. On the extension of Pah Road at Mount Roskill on Saturday afternoon a hill-climb-ing contest for motor car was held under the auspices of the New Zealand Motor Racing Drivers' Association, the chief event (open class) for the Kidston trophy, being won by G. A. Mathieson in his Miller racing car. A good afternoon's sport was witnessed by a crowd of several hundred people, which was afforded a good view of the events from banks on either side of tl.e road. The cars were travelling at over 50 miles an hour when they crested the bill. Detailed results are:— Touring Cars up to 1500 c.c.—L. G. Fowler (Riley), 32.835, 1; I. C. Horton (Riley), 34.005, 2; W.
