PETER PAN CABARET.
The Internationals (late Dixieland band) have established themselves in favour at the Peter Pan Cabaret, where Mr. Norman Bourn, as host, welcomed a large crowd of dancers on Saturday night. ■ The latest dance hits from overseas centres were features of the programme and received enthusiaistic encore demands, while the old-time melodies also shared in the popular applause.
Among those present were: Mrs. Joan Barrett (London), wearing black ninon and souple satin; Mrs. J. Grey, black faille with steel embroideries; Mrs. Wilson, eau de nil georgette; Mrs. Stafford Allen, parchment lace over lacquer red silk; Mrs. A. E. Neville, nut brown lace; Mrs. F. Lucas, black crepe de soie; Mrs. M. Parmenter, fawn lace with chestnut brown ruching; Mrs. R. S. Bagby, turquoise blue crepe suede relieved with gold; Miss Mabel Johnston, oyster and sapphire blue chenille velvet frock with ostrich feather wrap; Miss Gay Henderson, beige crinkled chiffon; Miss Alice Wilson, rose du Barry lace; Miss Elsie Tattley, tartan taffeta in tones of green and black; Miss O. Martinengo, gold lame and black crepe; Miss Marjorie Sparrow, black ring velvet; Miss Tess Williams, black chiffon velvet with corsage spray of irises; Miss Enid Thomas, ivory brocade with black taffeta; Miss E. Pearse, jade green charmeuse; Miss M. Wyllie, checked taffeta in russet shades; Miss M. Madigan, midnight blue souple satin; Miss V. Bird, ciel blue and white crepe de chine; Miss F. Shearer, blue and cherry floral crepe de soie; Miss Betsy Gardner, Venetian red ring velvet; Miss Avis Hedgeman, sea foam green lace and net; Miss Mary Barber, white .satin tunic and black satin skirt; Miss Dulcie O'Brien, pastel crepe romaine; Miss L. Charet, white charmeuse.
