CRASH OVER BANK.
SEQUEL TO WOMAN'S DEATH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. At the inquest into the death of Mrs. Emily Elizabeth Betlmne, who died as a result of a motor accident on the Paekakariki Hill on October 20. the verdict of the coroner was that she died in hospital from internal injuries suffered when the car in which she was a passenger overturned while travelling up the Paekakariki Hill. The evidence showed that on a bad corner the driver found that the steering gear had jammed somehow and the discovery was made too late to prevent the car from going over the bank. The car was travelling slowly at the time.
